NEW OPEN BOX CONDITION

ABB SPA-ZC102 interface module, which functions as a LON/SPA gateway. 

  • Function: The module acts as a gateway, connecting devices that use the ABB SPA-bus interface (such as protection relays and control units) to a LonWorks® (LON) network. 
  • Operation: It polls data from the SPA-bus device and spontaneously sends updated information (measurements, indications, events) to the LON bus if changes occur. 
  • Connectivity:
    • SPA-bus side: Connects via a 9-pin D-connector using RS-485, RS-232, or TTL-level signaling. 
    • LON side: Connects using glass or plastic fiber-optic cables. 
  • Power Supply: Unlike the similar SPA-ZC100, the SPA-ZC102 is powered from an external auxiliary power supply (Uaux), with options for 110-240 VAC, 110-220 VDC, or 24-60 VDC as indicated on the label.
